Summit came up with a creative labelling solution for introducing the Flora brand to a new product category; wellness shots.
That happened in 2012, and we’re really proud to say that we have been working with Flora ever since. They are well-respected pioneers in the health nutrition industry throughout Europe and North America for their innovative and high-quality products. Flora is a global leader committed to continuous innovation in product development and environmentally friendly manufacturing practices.
Flora enlisted our expertise for their exciting new line of Apple Cider Vinegar Wellness Shots, featuring three distinct flavours; Elderberry, Ginger + Lemon, and Turmeric + Cinnamon.
Flora had three main objectives for these labels:
- Support their entrance into a new market space.
- Create unique labels that would stand out on store shelves.
- A label that would photograph well for their website and social media.
Flora engaged with our team to discover their options, allowing us to offer recommendations and produce several prototypes quickly. Working closely with Flora for this project ensured the colours represented their vision and the details within their design precisely matched their direction. We also successfully met their tight deadlines to launch this new product at a vital industry tradeshow.
To make it happen for Flora, we used a technology that would allow us to run three different colour designs on the same run. This digital technology is known as Variable Data.
Thanks to our cutting-edge software, we seamlessly generated artwork with variable data and mosaic technology to create different designs, number sequences, patterns, images, and colours on one run of (same-sized) labels—without the hefty design fees. Now that’s smart marketing, eh!
Since the launch, Flora's Apple Cider Vinegar Wellness Shots have been an enormous hit. If Instagram and the popularity of people photographing these Apple Cider Vinegars with various foods and drinks is any measurement, this new line-up has been a big success for Flora.
